Kari Lee, Director
Miss Kari is a graduate and former dance team member of Wichita State University earning her BFA in Dance. Kari is in her 6th year teaching at NPAC and has owned the studio for 5 years. She currently teaches ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, and modern in all levels as well as being a choreographer for the Dynamic Dance Company performance team. Kari is also the coach of the Newton High School Railiners Dance Team. She has studied with many local and national choreographers and performed with Ballet Wichita, Wichita Contemporary Dance Theatre, and Montage Theatre of Dance. Kari has won many awards, including choreography awards at numerous local and national competitions.
Amy Pollard, Instructor
Miss Amy is currently studying for her BFA in Dance and Business Administration at WSU. Amy is in her 4th year at NPAC and currently teaches intermediate and advanced Hip Hop as well as being one of the choreographers for the Dynamic Dance Company performance team. Amy is also the assistant coach of the Newman University Dance team, is teaching Hip Hop at Wichita State University, and is also employed with Encore Dance Studio and the National Dance Alliance – teaching all styles of dance to high school and collegiate dance teams. Amy has performed with many local and national choreographers and has recently toured to Taiwan with the Wichita Contemporary Dance Theater.
Gretchen Wiswell, Instructor
Miss Gretchen attends Friends University where she is in her 3rd year as a ballet major. Miss Gretchen is an alum of NPAC and has been teaching ballet, pointe, jazz, and tap for 5 years. Gretchen has studied under many nationally renowned choreographers and has attended summer intensives hosted by prestigious dance companies such as Milwaukie Ballet.
Rebecca Trumble, Instructor
Miss Rebecca is a NPAC alum of 2010 and currently attend Bethel College where she studies music. Rebecca has been teaching Irish dance and tap at NPAC for 4 years and has won many awards for choreography and performance of Irish Dance. Most recently her Irish team placed first in their division at Talent on Parade Dance Competition.
Ashley Blanton, Instructor
Miss Ashley is a senior education major at Wichita State University and a member of the Wichita State Dance Team. Ashley is an alum of NPAC and has taught jazz, hip hop, and ballet for 2 years. Ashley has choreographed for many events of the WSU campus.
Ivy Neal, Instructor
Miss Ivy is a recent graduate of Friends University with a BFA in Ballet. Ivy has studied ballet, tap and jazz with Yazmin Wood and also Susan Camp. Ivy is completing her first year at NPAC and has taught ballet and tap. Ivy is a former member of U4EA Dance Team at DanceCamp Studio and performed in several musicals with Southwestern College's Horsefeathers and Applesauce theatre program. Ivy has choreographed many plays for Winfield Community Theatre and has also taught ballet, tap and jazz at Friends University and the YMCA.
Audrey Lamar, Instructor
Miss Audrey has been cheering and tumbling for the past 10 years. She is in her first year teaching tumbling at NPAC, while attending Wichita State University and majoring in health science. Upon graduation, she plans to attend Cleveland Chiropractic College. Audrey is also a member of the Wichita State Cheer Squad. Audrey loves teaching and encouraging students to believe in themselves and their skills.
Hayli Vogelman, Instructor
Miss Hayli is a sophomore at Newton High School and has been taking dance classes at NPAC since she was 7. Hayli has been student teaching for 2 years and currently teaches beginning hip hop. Hayli is a member of the Newton High School Railiners Dance team and has performed with Ballet Wichita and Montage Theatre of Dance.
Alyssa Gaede, Instructor
Miss Alyssa is a sophomore at Newton High School and has been taking dance classes at NPAC since she was 5. Alyssa has been student teaching for 1 year and currently teaches beginning jazz. Alyssa is a member of the Newton High School Railiners Dance team and has performed with Ballet Wichita and Montage Theatre of Dance.
Alexandra Glann, Instructor
Miss Alexandra is a sophomore at Newton High School and has been taking dance classes at NPAC since she was 4. Alexandra has been student teaching for 1 year and currently teaches beginning ballet. Alexandra is a member of the Newton High School Cheer Squad and has performed with Ballet Wichita.
